Amberley Village is one of only a few smaller jurisdictions in the region that boasts its own full-time Dispatch. Most communities rely on city or county emergency management services, however, Amberley Village works to ensure a personalized experience for our residents during times of crisis or in a medical emergency. The Public Safety window in the Amberley Village Municipal Building is open 24 hours a day/seven days a week, with Dispatchers at the ready to respond to resident concerns. Oftentimes, a simple call directly to Amberley Village Dispatch can save valuable time in cases where residents are seeing unusual activity, have questions about potential fraudulent behavior or a potential break-in, or need to report an accident or hazardous road condition.
Please note that certain situations are beyond our scope of knowledge. For example, in a power outage, you should contact Duke Energy at 1-800-544-6900, as the Village does not administer the gas and electric service.
