EMS Vehicles

Amberley Village contracts with Reading Fire & EMS for its emergency medical services. Its close proximity and partnership with Amberley Village first responders ensures our residents receive the most immediate and personalized care during their most vulnerable times. Amberley Village Police-Fire's policy is to be first to arrive at the scene, and response times are consistent with service anticipated by our residents. In addition, Reading typically dispatches a greater number of personnel to critical calls than other nearby departments, which means Village residents benefit from additional resources.

The Reading Fire Department serves its community and contracted areas from two stations.  Station 83 (Valley Station), located at 1000 Market St., is staffed 24 hours a day by a combination of career and part-time personnel. The administrative division is also located at this station. Station 84 (Hilltop Station), located at 601 E. Columbia Ave., is staffed with off-duty personnel when the need arises.

The Department has multiple medic units dedicated to emergency medical services, providing critical care during transport. Apparatus and medic units are located between Reading's two stations, ensuring the Department is ready to respond to Amberley Village residents' emergencies of varying complexity, day or night, with the appropriate tools and personnel on hand. Each piece of equipment is regularly maintained and equipped with state-of-the-art technology to serve the community with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Reading has been the contracted EMS service provider for Amberley Village residents since January 1, 2020.
