In partnership with Hamilton County’s Alert HC and Smart911, AVAS is designed to bring you alerts from Village Police-Fire and Administration, as well as the ability to opt in to additional alerts from the County, such as weather, road closures, evacuations, flood advisories and more. Options for receiving information will remain up to the user, and residents can opt in or out at any time. Please note that signing up for one does not automatically sign you up for another, so please pay close attention to your selections.
Residents can log into the Smart911 system at www.smart911.com to sign up, update their profile, select county-wide alert based on preference, and provide information regarding members of the household that will assist First Responders should an emergency arise. Residents who would like assistance in setting up their account can contact Amberley Village for help signing up over the phone or in person.
Information entered into the Smart911 system is 100% privacy-protected, except in the case of emergency, where the information is shared only with first responders.
"It’s crucial that we have accurate information in any emergency situation in order to provide the most effective response,” says Chief Richard Wallace. “Partnering with public safety providers can make the difference between life and death by shaving seconds and even minutes off of rescue times. I urge every resident in the Village to spend a few minute to register. It could add years to your life!”
