Amberley Village ASP Updates

Plans for upcoming street improvements are listed below by date. Please note that all dates are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, staffing shortages, and equipment availability. Amberley Village will make every effort to update information on the website and on social media. Questions should be directed to the Village Administration Offices at 513-531-8675.

Residents can expect some delays and possibly limited access during active road work hours.

  • 9/19/22: Curb and catch basin repairs are slated for the Week of September 26
  • Repaving will begin once concrete repairs are complete. Expected to take approximately 6 weeks, with a targeted completion in early November.

  • Contractors will notify residents prior to any disruptions to driveway access.

  • 7/1/22:  The water main and fire hydrants have been installed, with work currently underway at the intersection of Elbrook and Meadowridge.  Traffic is being detoured during active work hours, while local traffic is being maintained.

  • Saw cutting began on Bluegrass Lane on Tuesday, May 12, 2022.
  • OUPS was out to mark Meadowridge, after which cutting and digging began.
  • Pipe installation has begun.
  • Residents may be directed around work areas depending upon progress.

9/21/22:  Installation of the new storm water system is now complete, and Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) will begin work on the water main replacement next week.  The water main project will include all new fire hydrants and is expected to run through early winter.  Road construction is expected to begin in Spring of 2023 and will include total curb replacement, installation of underdrains, and complete reconstruction of the street from the base up. Contractors will add aggregate under the base and replace the street, as well as remove deteriorated concrete.

7/1/2022:  Work has begun on the storm water infrastructure replacement near the intersection of North and South Farmcrest Drive, with excavation and installation of a manhole and pipe on the property at 3109 North Farmcrest. Plans to install the storm water system on South Farmcrest have been redirected to install the system on North Farmcrest first as a precaution in case of heavy rains. The storm water system will be installed on South Farmcrest once installation on North Farmcrest is complete.
