To address Council at a regularly scheduled public meeting, a member of the public can request to be on the agenda by notifying the Village Manager or Clerk, either orally or in writing, no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. For special Council meetings or Committee meetings, a member of the public must notify Village Staff of a request to address Council before the commencement of the meeting. The next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be Saturday, October 23, 2021. National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. Amberley Village will participate from 10 – 2 p.m., allowing residents and neighbors to drop off unused or expired prescriptions.
The DEA will also accept vaping devices and cartridges at any of its drop-off locations during Take Back Day. It is important to note that DEA cannot accept devices containing lithium ion batteries. If batteries cannot be removed prior to drop-off, DEA encourages individuals to consult with stores that recycle lithium ion batteries.
