Outreach Committee – Meeting Minutes
March 19, 2008

Present: Peg Conway (chair), Merrie Stillpass, Tracy McMullen, Bernie Boraten

I. Newsletter plans
The sole purpose of the meeting was to make plans and assign stories for the spring edition of the Amberley newsletter. Peg presented her list of ideas, which was added to by the group. Tracy volunteered to follow up on the progress of the JCC construction. Merrie will contribute several articles related to activities of the Beautification Committee, specifically the Garden Awards and new rain garden. Bernie agreed to write up the summer brush policy as well as research the possibility of offering the address signs once again. The deadline for submitting newsletter items is April 9.

II. Website suggestion
In the course of discussion, it was suggested to look into whether the website software has a “letter to the editor” function that would allow responses from residents.
