B. Street Tree Inventory update: review status of the 14 ash trees identified by inventory to determine if already removed, health.
a. Follow up with Barbara Brassler from Adath Israel re: corner of Galbraith & Ridge.
C. Village Grounds:
a. The 15 ash trees on AV grounds sprayed 7/30/07 and will received systemic treatment in spring.
b. Reviewed locations of 7 dead/dying or diseased trees to be removed. Arborist found no evidence of EAB
D. AVBC on new Village website http://www.amberleyvillage.org/ then follow the link under council committees. Look for info and updates!
Garden Awards
a. 16 nominations were received, including 2 past recipients
b. Announcement of winners at Ice Cream Social. Winners will receive special gift and certificate. Signs will be distributed early spring for use until November 15.

a. Work with Brain to create a composite display of AVBC materials & projects
b. Contact Wendi to see about EAB D-hole tree sample
c. Contact Nancy Moran to coordinate tables, time for award announcement

ReLeaf—due to lack of funding this program is not taking place this year. Tom is investigating to see if we can have our own sale offering
Rain Garden design & implementation discussion
a. Set up meeting with Jeanette, Tom, Ed, Matt, others to discuss mapping and design. More volunteers needed.
Educational Program this fall: try to get speaker, maybe Dave Stang, on tree care & maintenance in late Oct. or early Nov.
