Meeting Minutes
August 15, 2007

Attendees:  Tim Carter (Chair), Peg Conway, Nicole Browder, Bernie Boraten, Jack Monahan, Pam Hessler, Brian Wamsley and Mark Roessler.

The meeting started promptly and was facilitated with excellent written organizational notes prepared by Mrs. Nicole Browder. These notes summarized the action items that were completed from the previous meeting as well as those items that are in a holding pattern or incomplete.  Mrs. Browder also submitted new written action points and helpful goals that the committee should work towards. These were well received by all in attendance.

Site navigational issues were discussed as well as developing a more inviting home page for the web site. It was decided that the focus of the next meeting should be the start of the process of revising the look of the home page.

The production of certain Police/Fire safety videos was discussed as well as the possibility of hiring a film-study intern to tape, edit and post the videos.

The committee decided the existing downloadable .pdf forms is not acceptable. There is no conformity in the look and feel and some lack any identifying words tying them to Amberley Village. They need to be recreated using the new masthead of the Village.

Modern software, Adobe Acrobat 8.0, was discussed that would allow us to create the most professional .pdf documents. This software will be discussed at the next meeting as well as photo-editing software.

Peg Conway requested a financial breakdown of costs to date to get the web site relaunched as well as future anticipated costs that might happen on a regular basis.

The next meeting will be held probably the first Wednesday of September.
